Pet Portraits

I am currently taking commissions for pet portraits (gallery below).

If you are interested in commissioning a pet portrait, please read the following guidelines.

• The cost is $600 for one (or $900 for two) unframed oil painting(s) on 12 x 16” (30.5 x 40.5 cm) cradled wood panel. These panels come with D-rings and wire on the back, ready to hang

• A black or light timber floating frame can be added for $50 per frame. Frames come with D-rings and wire on the back, ready to hang

• Free pickup in Canberra, or buyer to pay postage ($50 Australia wide for 1 painting. For multiple paintings I will get a quote first)

• Portraits will have a background of a single colour, unless you specifically ask for something different. Please note that more complex backgrounds may incur an additional fee, to be discussed before painting begins

• Portraits are done from photos of your pet. Photos need to be high resolution and clearly show your pet (i.e. not blurry or pixelated, or with your pet in the background). I recommend sending several photos and we can discuss which will work best

• Portraits take 12 weeks to complete, to allow adequate drying time

• A 50% non-refundable deposit is required before I start work (I’m more than happy to discuss payment plans!)
